147 Certificates – 100 Artists

Register, certify, and make visible

104 authors and artists have certified 147 works on Aifreemedia. Status: November 4, 2025.

Requesting a certificate is simple, clear, and straightforward.
You need to provide the following:

  • The title.
  • Your name or pseudonym.
  • The year of publication.
  • The category – is it a design, a book, or something else?
  • The production tool – a traditional typewriter or a brush? Or software like Word?
  • The internet address – Amazon, your website, or somewhere else? Wherever it is currently online.
  • A short description – this description also helps others find your work. Take a look at some examples for inspiration.
  • Also an image of the work – it can be large; we only store a small version and do not keep the original image you upload.

This information is compiled and stored in the certificate. Each certificate receives an eight-digit number under which it can be accessed at www.aifreemedia.eu.

You will receive it as an SVG file, as an HTML snippet, and as a QR code for printing, sent by email.
Each of these includes the link to the stored certificate. You can also, where links are not allowed – for example on Instagram – simply note the number as a hashtag, e.g. #aifree_00000000, with a reference to the aifreemedia.eu website.
Anyone can enter the number on the English page at https://aifreemedia.eu/en/validate to view the certificate.

Try it here: click, scan, or enter the number – all paths lead to a certificate.

The SVG is retrieved from the server and displayed here – on WordPress sites, this is not allowed.
In that case, you can use the HTML snippet:

#aifree_00000000

In a paperback you cannot click – that’s where the certificate QR code comes in, ready to be scanned with a smartphone. Here, scan this one:

And if all else fails, you can simply write down the eight-digit certificate number and refer to aifreemedia.eu. On the homepage there is a “Validate Certificate” button where you can enter the number.

Try it with the first work: 00000000 on Aifreemedia.eu.

AiFreeMedia is self-certification.

Free of charge, transparent, and non-profit – that’s the only way it works. Once you’ve certified a work, show it. Place the link or at least the certificate number of your work on your website, in the Amazon text, on social media posts, or in your book’s imprint (QR code in the next edition). Always display the logo together with the certificate number so anyone can verify it. The certificate number has eight digits. It is included in the email to you and in the URL of the work on Aifreemedia. Example:

  https://aifreemedia.eu/de/validate?hash=00000007
Certificate Number: 00000007

If you have trouble placing it – don’t hesitate to contact us. We’ll be glad to help.

The costs to keep Aifreemedia running are moderate. Hosting and domain currently cost about 170 euros per year – plus my own work on the site, which I do in my spare time. Anyone who wishes may make a donation. The current total of all donations is always displayed on the donation page.

Welcome – and spread the word.

Video – Get Your AI FREE MEDIA Certificate

We created a dedicated website, email address, and WordPress blog post to show in a screen recording how to register, request a certificate, and link it on your website or in WordPress to label your work as AI-free. The video is live on YouTube:

The downloadable SVG certificate contains an internal link to the validation page. On your own website, you can simply embed it into a page. In WordPress, however, it’s more complicated because SVG files must first be enabled as uploadable media files.

That’s why we send you a complete small HTML block that you can insert directly in the Block Editor ( + custom HTML ) to place a button link to the validation page. For YouTube, Instagram, or other platforms where real links are not allowed, you can use the provided hashtag: #aifree_00000010 for example – but you must also indicate where the tag can be verified – on aifreemedia.eu … And then there's the certificate also as a QR code (SVG and PDF) that you can place, for example, in a printed book where URL links do not work. It can be scanned and leads to the validation page.

Every certificate has a URL where the work was published and a small image of the work so it’s clear what the certificate was issued for.
